Privacy information
Your journal starts on your iPhone
SaunaZone records sessions locally. Your journal can contain session dates, duration, temperature, sauna type, notes, ratings, and heart-rate summaries. Local recording does not require an account or an internet connection.
Optional connections
Apple Health and a compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitor are optional. You choose the relevant Apple Health permissions, and can manage them separately in the Health app.
Optional account saving
Creating an account uses Sign in with Apple and Supabase authentication. Account creation alone does not enable journal uploads. Separate account-saving permission allows completed journal details and per-minute heart-rate summaries to be saved to the configured Supabase service in the United States. Individual heart-rate readings and body measurements are not included in account saving.
Your choices
Data & Privacy in the app lets you withdraw account-saving permission and request cloud-journal removal. Export and account-deletion controls are also available in the app. Cloud removal requires a connection and remains pending until confirmed. Apple Health entries and copies on other devices are separate.
Before public release
The final policy must confirm the responsible legal entity and contact details, processors and international transfers, legal bases, retention periods, and rights for the regions where the app will be offered. This preview page is not the final App Store privacy policy.
